Armour Thyroid contains both thyroid hormones, T3 (liothyronine) and T4 (levothyroxine), which are produced naturally by the body.
Armour Thyroid, like other thyroid hormone preparations, is usually prescribed for patients with hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), goitre (an enlarged thyroid gland), and certain types of thyroid cancer.
