The active ingredient present in this formula is guaifenesin, which helps thin and loosen mucus in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough up. This medicine is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over.
Take 10ml (two 5ml spoonfuls) up to four times a day. If symptoms do not improve after a week of use, then you speak to a doctor or Dock Pharmacy pharmacist for advice.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, then you should speak to a doctor or Dock Pharmacy pharmacist before using this Benylin cough syrup.
